Loss of Cervical Curve

Patient A presents to Leaf Chiropractic: A Creating Wellness Center due to extreme neck and arm pain.  She rated the pain at a level of 10 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst.  Upon x-ray examination mild degenerative joint disease (arthritis) is seen at the level of C5/C6.  Upon consult with her orthopedic surgeon, Patient A was a candidate to have spinal surgery to relieve her pain.

After 1 year of regular chiropractic treatment and at home therapeutic exercise as advised by Dr. Reinhart patient A's condition has dramatically improved.  Although some flare-ups in her neck pain do occasionally occur, her orthopedic surgeon notes that her condition has improved to the point where surgery is no longer being considered!  Her cervical curve which once was considered Phase II spinal degeneration, is now near normal, and her degenerative joint disease (arthritis) has not continued to progress!
