What to Expect

Welcome mat

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

When you first enter our office you will be greeted by name with a warm smile from our front desk team followed by a quick tour of our facility so that you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive. We will need a few signatures on some privacy and financial forms then we will escort you to the examination room.

To expedite your time in the office, we have created internet access to most of your new patient forms. Assuming you’ve completed the online portion, your first visit to our office should take about one hour. If you do not have access to the internet or prefer to fill them out once you come to the office then you will want to arrive half and hour early to your appointment so there is plenty of time for you to complete the intake forms.

Your thorough evaluation typically takes 45 minutes and any necessary x-rays take about 5 minutes. You will have an orthopedic and neurological evaluation of your spine and/or extremities, and you are measured for any “pinched” nerves that disrupt control to the organs, blood flow, heart function, muscle function and those that create any pain you may be experiencing. We do this comprehensive testing for you because only 10% of your nerves sense pain while 90% control your internal health.

Once all testing is complete you are provided with some self help instructions such as icing or posture considerations, as well as EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) if needed for pain relief.

Once the evaluation is complete you will once again visit our front desk to set up your second visit to go over our findings and to take care of any financial commitments.

Second Visit

When you arrive for your “Report of Findings” you should allow approximately 45 minutes of time. Approximately 30 minutes will be with you and the doctor going over all of your exam findings and any x-rays and 15 minutes will be needed for your initial treatment.

You will be provided with a thorough written plan of care guide you toward your recovery and we will hand you copies of your test results. We make certain to provide you with answers to any of your questions so that you fully understand how to get the most out of your experience in our office. Because this information is so important to your recovery and long term health, we recommend that your significant other also attend this visit so you both fully understand your condition and the doctor’s recommendation.

Once we determine that you are a chiropractic case and you accept our plan of action you will be ready to promptly begin your care. You will have time with our insurance representative to have any financial questions answered prior to receiving treatment. We want to be certain that everyone is on the same page prior to beginning this journey together.

Regular Visit

Each visit will require approximately 20 to 30 minutes depending on the extent of your care. Wellness patients may require 10 minutes whereas patient’s under a formal care plan may require additional time to complete therapy, rehab or additional treatment time with the doctor. It is very important to arrive 5 minutes
